I first saw this in Ohio years ago and now it has spread south like a stinking fungus. What is the benefit of doing that shite?

Absolutely nothing. It drives me crazy. Just drive with your lights on and not like a speed demon and things will be alright.

I do it to let people know I'm going slow. At least if I'm in the left lane.

I just use front and rear fog lights to assist other drivers.

You just need an Al Bundy pic for the Trifecta, Fred.

You saw the hazards right? That means whatever they are doing is working. STFU and deal with it. Why are you complaining about something so trivial? It's safety and it works. You should try it.

Increased visibility. Toppers get rear- ended while pulled over and with their lights flashing so doesn't hurt.

And IDGAF what the letter of the law is bit if I see someone on a good weather day driving fast, with flashers, I assume they're in an emergency situation. Have used mine for that very purpose once.

The world would be such a better place if the OT would move away from the dumb hazards in the rain campaign and devote its energy to the "don't fricking stop at flashing yellows" movement.
