Return of the Bronco/Blazer/Ramcharger: Who else wants it?

I can't fathom why one of these has not made it to the market yet. We need a lower priced, rugged, no frills, V8 powered, off road capable, two door offering again. There are few vehicles I would buy new, but if they'd bring one of these back at around 30k, I'd be first in line.

They would throw cheap leather seats, some hi tech stuff and sell them for 60k.

I know, and I can't fathom that. If they'd sell one of these bare bones with great off road capabilities, they'd have the market cornered. Even jeeps are glammed out. Instead of carpet, rhino line the inside. Strip down most of the electronics/power windows/locks, just give us a rugged rig. It sucks we can't get modern safety and reliability in a rugged format without paying out the arse and modding the shite out of it.

Not that I know of. We keep getting teased with it, yet they don't deliver. American 4x4s blow now. You have to go internationally to see any semblance of modern ruggedness.
