Where are some decent places for auto glass replacement in BR? I have an old Tacoma and I broke one of the window panes in the back glass. There is a sliding window in the back so it is one of the small panes adjacent to the sliding windows.

Safelite just did my windshield. They were $100 cheaper than all the "local" places and they came to my work and did it in my parking garage. I didn't have to take the vehicle to them.

I highly recommend Safelite.

I am pretty sure you have to have the entire back window replaced as it is all one unit. I had a Ford Ranger with the sliding rear window that someone busted out, and the only way to replace it was by having the entire window replaced. As for recommendations, I have no idea but if you were in Georgia I know of a few places.

You can't get those panes individually. You have to buy the entire back glass.

Gryder Discount Glass on airline does good work and aren't pricey. I think they warranty the glass too.

If you have the time, and are even slightly mechanically inclined, they're very easy to replace yourself.
Just pick one up at a salvage yard.

Unless you absolutely need the sliding glass, the solid glass will be cheaper.

This may be an option I look into. Thanks for the tip.

Unfortunately, during the incident that broke the glass, a piece of wood pushed the bed into the cab, denting the back of the cab inwards. I am not sure if any body work would be required to make the new window fit.

While this sounds reasonable, check with any auto glass place first because they maybe able to replace it......doesn't hurt to ask.
