Anyone have a company come do it for them and how much did they charge.
Just trying to see what to expect cost wise.

Thanks in advance

Around 1600 sq/ft

Just do it yourself, it isn't difficult, just time consuming. Who knows how long you would have to wait for a company to come do it right now anyways

I've seen a few contractors charging about 1.75ft. If you have insurance that is going to cover the cost then why not. Just make sure you go with someone who is licensed, insured/bonded, and get a written invoice. Take photos before, during and after.

It's not hard to do. Get a wheel barrow, 4 friends and save your money. You could do it in a day.

How the hell does anyone know 8 people who aren't working or doing their own house?

do you know what needs to be done when removing sheetrock?

im being serious, get 3-4 mexicans at home depot and direct them what to do. I guarantee that they'd take $100 or so a piece for a days work. It's not hard work and anyone that pays thousands to do it is a fool

I ask because I had a dear friend recommend some guys that he works close to in the field that are not out-of-town.
Removing all sheet rock (4ft) and all floors (parquet) 5k.
Didn't think it was that bad. Again, unfortunately unable to myself.
