I'm in Carville but I can't see anything from here. It's pretty cloudy.

We've done a lot of work here since the last incident to get it back up and I know there are a few incompetent people working this job. I hope that it wasn't an issue that could've been prevented.

Correction to my earlier post. Fire is still burning but pressure has been greatly reduced and the fire is contained. Shelter in place has been lifted. My guess is they're bleeding the line to the atmosphere. No update on seriousness of injuries.

They had to depressure the unit due to the leak not being able to be isolated. One worker was in serious critical condition from burns.

Hate to hear that. Was hoping none of the injuries were very serious. Prayers for that fellow.

It can also do some strange things to metal, like making it brittle.

Just got word that two people I graduated with were involved. One is ok, one has 2nd and 3rd degree burns. The operator is in the worst shape.
