Please suggest your best experience/review of running shoes (brand & model). Pictures helpful if you can provide. I am in the market for a new pair. I am looking for a comfortable fit with a lot of cushion. Cost is really not a big deal. GO!!
TIA

Go get fitted. I've had Saucony and Brooks and have HATED them.
I love Mizuno and Newtons.

That's the answer. Let them pick the shoe for you. If it comes in a color you like, great, if not just deal with it.
Ive had brooks glyerine 8s through 13s. They work great for me.

Asics Gel Nimbus
I have these currently. It's like walking on pillows. Only problem is they kill my Achilles.

Brooks Ghost series have always worked well for me

I recommend that you go into a store (I went to varsity sports), find out what kind of arch support you need, try on a few pairs, and decide what you think is most comfortable.

I agree that you need to get fitted. And not at foot locker but a running store.
My favorite shoes have been the brooks pure series

I've heard good things about Hoka's but I've never run in them.

HOKA. You want cushion? HOKA One One. Ugly as hell but they are amazing. I've had knee surgery and they've allowed me to still cover about 35 miles a week.
Eta: the nimbus is a good shoe but the gel goes flat within 6 weeks.

Like others said, go get fitted then buy last season's colors online for half price

I love Newton Distance S.. they have lugs on the bottom that make you run on the balls of your feet.

If your upper leg is longer than your lower leg and you have a tendency to roll your ankle, then check out the Brooks Pure Flow 4's or 5's. Can't really explain the science but they are designed for problems resulting from longer upper, shorter lower issues. Helped me tremendously and are extremely comfortable. They run small length wise and are also more narrow across the front of the foot.

I know a lot of the running purists bash Nike -- and I used to be an Asics guy, but I got a pair of Nike Zoom Vomero for free about six or seven years ago and have been wearing that model since.

As others have said. Get fitted for shoes. I wear Asics Gel Kayano and it's like running on pillows. My only complaint with those is that for a while they felt really heavy. Took some getting used to but I love them.
