Toyota or Honda would be your best bet.

Best deals I have found, look at the local FB trading pages. I always see an elderly persons family post their car after they pass. Most of the time, it is 7-8 years old with 30-40k miles on it.

Corolla. I got a 09 in 2010 with 20,000 about to go over 200,000 and only thing ever happened was water pump went out. Regular oil changes. Gas and go.

i bought a Toyota Celica GT in September for $3500.00 and a BMW Z3 last weekend for $3400.00 both cars are in good condition. the Toyota gets better gas mileage than the BMW. the insurance is extremely cheap. the bmw is a 98 and the Toyota is a 99
