I enjoyed WWII in Color but I love war documentaries. May not be your thing. There's one about the Pacific theater too

I like Rogue One.

Not a doc per se, but if you haven't watched Narcos it's a must.

I enjoyed the Amanda Knox documentary that was on Netflix.

Just finished The Founder on Netflix a few minutes ago. About Ray Crock and McDonald's. Not sure if that counts but it's a decent movie.
