Whatever you do stay away from Blue Haven Pools. Their reviews are awful

I received a bid from Eric and his wife. Nice couple and I've seen their work, which is very good.
My only issue was their pricing was $30K more than what I ended up getting my pool finished for.
And it was an apples to apples comparison. Ended up going with Brian Keith and we are very pleased with the end result.

I'm putting in a hybrid as we speak.
You should look into that.
Gunite and fiberglass.
21k gallon around 43k... I'm gonna do some extra stuff with backyard but still about 8-10k less expensive than all gunite.

Our pool is 650 sq. ft and over 22K gallons and we did it for right around your number with gunite and heater.

Actually pool is 38
I'm doing some water features and extra concrete and some brick works extras and it's gonna be just over 43.

We went with salt water pool.
Why? It doesn't require me to purchase and transport chlorine from the store to my backyard.
Plus my contractor recommended it.

And I had exactly the opposite experience with him.
I would reccomend the OP do significant research.
Ask for at least 4-5 recent references.

I want the one that keeps my pool looking best the majority if time.
I've had two others that used chlorine and it was a struggle at times to keep it clear.
Especially if weather turned shitty.

They are about the same to maintain. You will still need acid.
You won't use chlorine, but you'll need to monitor salt carefully.
You'll add salt on occasion, more after a significant rain.
All in all, salt is probably the way to go.
