It is already upon us but most people don't realize this fact yet. Historians will look back on this time (2001-present) as the third world war or at least the run up to it. We are in a different age of warfare

I calculated (viewed) this was I was very young, and all I can tell you is that it was ongoing in 2017. Started in the middle east and spread like wildfire. Biger countries were forced into the fight. Not even sure we were fighting Russians at all. Might have been on the same side.

I am hoping I was wrong and will be glad when 2018 gets here

We are in an age of persistent conflict. Warfare isn't the same anymore with traditionally defined end points.

I would also like to know the answer to this question. My wife usually says "when the next world war begins" when I ask for a BJ.

What incentive would there be for a WW?

China's best bet is something of the status quo, a war likely doesn't help them much.

Russia, essentially the same, unless a severe need for resources.

Everything is so interconnected now, war just losses money for so many.

It takes crazy ideology or civil war.

The situation in Ukraine takes up the civil war part & Putin's crazy ideology pretty much speaks for itself.

I think the odds are greater for civilization (as we know it today) to become crippled or collapse, major social upheavals, etc., rather than a full scale world war.

Do you realize how much money it makes for the people that have the power to drag us into a war?

Plus a lot of countries probably want to thin out the herd.

Unless we figure some shite out in Eastern Europe and fast, the next world war will be soon and with Russia. They are now looking to legally reverse the nationhoods of the Baltics, which will not go over well. Sweden and Finland have already sent notices of conscriptions being possible to their able-bodied men. shite is very dicey over there.

How World War III Became Possible.
