I just want your honest opinion on the people in your Louisiana circle. Do they hate other races?
Hate? No. Dislike the race? Yes, many in my circle. And you know I call them out on their racism.
Is it racist to describe a negative situation and use "offensive" terms to describe the characters in the scenario? To me, I don't think it is. Could it be considered in bad taste? Probably.
I think that's what most experience. Btw, every group does this. I don't think that's a systemic problem.
If a girl sucks 10 dicks over a weekend you would call her a slut, or a whore, or a skank, etc.
If a black guy stole your lawn mower, you may choose an non PC term to describe him. Just the way it is.
In general, I think most people truly judge an individual based on their personal interactions with that person and that's how it should be.

This sounds really bad but having lived in LA and other parts, the black people in LA are very different

Both of the black guys I work with will tell you I'm not racist.

Poverty + lack of education = usually trash
No matter the color
Unfortunately, there are a lot of black people in this state and the south living in that situation.
My friend's wife is from Oregon. She HATED the way some of her in laws talked about black people. It was a major issue in their marriage. They moved down here and now she admits that maybe her experiences were different growing up.

Racism is taught I see it daily, anyone who argues otherwise is ignorant imo
Limited interaction is just as impactful.
If you grow up around one group of people and the majority of your limited interactions/impressions with an outside group are negative, you're probably going to paint with a broad brush.

The major race riots of the 70's were in Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Cleveland, L.A. None of those dynamics have changed. Ever driven through the projects in any big city up north? They go on for miles & miles of city blocks. Chicago may be "diverse" but only the north side. Go down to the south side & it's all Hispanic and blacks. Drive through Gary, Ind. if you want to see racism at its ugliest. Harlem in N.Y.? OP, go study these areas of the country & then come back here & compare La.'s racism.

It's only natural for species to want to be with their own kind.
Why would a male Cardinal want to be with a female sparrow?

Why are people do obsessed with racism? Where did these marching orders come from?
It is all liberals have.
I am right-wing as Hell and I guarantee the black people I deal with like me a lot more than they would some whiny self-loathing white douchebag

People in my circle aren't typically fond of hip hop culture or the message it promotes. So happens that a majority of that culture's following is black American.
I don't dislike them for their color. The few people I do dislike, it's based solely on character and personality.

Racist is disliking someone strictly because of their race
Racism is an action. Disliking someone because of their race is prejudice.

If you are black and say don't like white people, because they are white.. That makes that person racist.
It makes them prejudiced.
