so you are admitting black people can be racist too?

Anyone who says black people can't be racist is an idiot. Long story short, this black chick I knew, who got knocked up and was putting the kid up for adoption said "I am not racist, I don't care if my baby goes to a white family. As long as it doesn't go to some Mexicans I am okay with that". That is racist as frick..

I had a buddy of mine serving with me in Hawaii, he was mixed Italian and Puerto Rican from NYC. He had a girlfriend who migrated with her family from China when she was 12 to NYC. He was outspoken on racism but the kicker was he dated her for nearly 3 years before meeting her folks since her folks didn't approve of her dating a non Chinese man. Enlightened northerners you know.

This state really does have a problem with racism. Growing up I remember what friends and family would say about black people. Hell, I remember teachers and cops getting in on the rants. I know some people get defensive when someone brings up an ism and I'm not calling the entire state racist but to say its a small portion of the population is being disingenuous in my experience. I know there are some black people that are racist as well but I guess I haven't had a chance to experience that. In the 95% black junior high I didn't have any issues. I guess kids at that age aren't indoctrinated yet. I see the news and I understand that some white kids have a different experience.

Black people in the U.S. can be prejudiced, but in most cases they can't be racist. Racism requires power.

Because there are a lot of racists, many of them in positions of government power.

Racist is disliking someone strictly because of their race. If you are black and say don't like white people, because they are white.. That makes that person racist.

It's an unhealthy obsession.

If some people stopped being so damn racist other people might not be so obsessed with it. For instance, racial discrimination in the housing market is widespread and documented and tends to occur in precisely those neighborhoods where blacks with higher incomes, moving up in the world, might be looking to move to. E.g. in New Orleans' most affluent neighborhoods there is a 44% chance a landlord is racist.

Racism in Louisiana

That is anywhere that there are multiple races. Any difference, even minuscule, in any level of anything will cause racism, be it intelligence, socioeconomic status, etc. Even if everything could somehow be the same it is a big gamble. If things get bad people will start blaming the others. It is often why countries are the most diverse/multicultural right before the country collapses.

My friend went six years before meeting the girls family. They broke up rt after. Parents didn't want her with a white guy. She sided with her parents instead of the guy she planned on marrying.

I don't really care if someone is racist or not.
Black racists, white racists, brown racists I don't give a shite about any of them.

I don't like certain types of people.
I don't like thug culture and I don't like trash culture.

So i suppose that makes me a classist more so than a racist.

I wasn't the guy who appointed which race to which class. The people involved so that choosing.

Twas in the student section at an lsu game, and Jordan Jefferson was being inserted in place of Jarret Lee. A young male in the crowd expressed his displeasure using the n word more than a few times. His buddies kept it going, and a number of the surrounding bystanders found it hilarious and were providing their concurrence with what this guy was spewing. Girls, guys, it didn't matter. And it was a disgusting sight to be honest

Racism exist... No denying it... The only way to kill it is with children. Raise your kids right and it won't be there in the next generation. The South has more white to African American interactions and I would expect more racism.
