Question for those who deal with visually impaired and devices to help them.

Is the Ipod touch a big help for them with the voice features? And if so, is there a big difference between the fifth and sixth generations? Thanks.

One of my best friends is blind. He can see out of a tiny pinhole on one eye. That's the entirety of his sight.
He has had every type of iPod that had a wheel where you could hear clicks as you went through albums and songs.

I have a niece who is blind and her birthday is coming up. Yeesh.
Its not like there are a bunch of blind people or their families I can go out and ask questions to.

I wasn't so much talking about this thread. More so, all your other troll threads.

Most, if not all, phones and devices these days have pretty good accessibility features. From what I've heard from the visually impaired Apple products are generally the best and have the most resources online (blogs, message boards, etc). Do a little research on the specific devices you are considering and you should be able to find some pretty good info
