Been married for a while now. I love my wife but here's my dilemma? I just got a nice raise at work. Do i tell her right away or wait a few months? The reason i say a few months is the minute i let the cat out of the bag then she be wanting stuff that we/I don't really need .

I told my wife that my job doesn't give raises.

Just put the increased portion of earnings directly in savings. You can mention it to her, but your checking account won't look any different.

Do you not share a joint checking account? Does she not participate in financial discussions?

In marriage, you should come together as one or you may face the possibility of being just one.

Do you know the consequence of her finding out you got a raise and you didn't tell her? I shiver just thinking about it.

How do you get paid? Do you get a direct deposit into a joint account or old school check?

Like what? A boob job so she can leave you? Or a new vehicle so she has transportation to cheat on you?

Are you bragging about length of marriage, being in love, getting a raise, or owning cats and bags?

Pics of wife are needed to determine if she deserves being honest to.

Congrats on the sex you won't be having when she finds out you lied?

If you are trying to keep money a secret from your wife, that's the least of your problems.

Quickly skimming through this, I initially read this as "I love my wife but here is my diarrhea"

You should always keep big financial decisions/news a secret from your spouse.

It always works out well.
