Can you tell when the person you are talking to gets confused and looks at the "floating" eye?

Does it offend you or hurt your feelings when someone gets confused and looks at the wrong eye when trying to talk to you?

I think it's probably an innocent mistake and most people dont mean anything by it.

I've heard every pirate joke in the book and I can beat a whole room in a staring contest.

It doesn't bother me at all anymore.

What's a pirate's favorite pastime?

I believe people with lazy eyes are some of the most inconsiderate people on this planet, wear some fricking sunglasses so you don't put me in that awkward arse situation

Had this happen yesterday. Which wasn't the first, only, and probably not the last time it's happened.

A guy I know has one eye that's all over the map and I kept getting distracted and looking at it while talking to him and its been bugging me whether he could tell or not.

I've wanted to ask that question for years. Also, can they read both pages of a magazine at the same time?

So you have a lazy eye?

Can you tell when the aforementioned situation is occurring?

I think most people are like myself and the lazy eye itself doesn't bother us as much as not being able to tell which eye to look at when talking to you and then wondering if you can tell that we are having this problem.

Yes.

I can also be looking directly at a woman, making her think I'm deeply interested in what she is saying, but actually be watching the game on the TV behind her.

Oh sure. I'm sure it gets annoying. Same way it annoys me when my waiter has one arm and I go to shake his hand and...nope.

The audacity.

When I was teaching I'd have a whole room of kids confused as hell when i'd fuss at one of them.

Because they never knew who I was fussing at.

All of you, little twats.

I actually looked this up the other day. For lazy eyed people, one eye is blurry and the other eye is regular

There's usually a good eye.
Establish which eye is the good eye and follow that one.

Easier said than done. I know which eye is good, but when you just glance up you don't think about it until you realize your looking at anbeye that's looking at the ceiling and then you casually try to swap to the other eye without being noticed.

Quit being so defensive.

I have a lazy leg. It scratches the floor when I drag it around.
