Do these two articles accurately represent your team? Definitely represents my team.

Middle-aged men who get fired up about softball are just sad.

There are a few teams like that in my co-ed league, but identify with none of those 11 types. I'm there to hang out, and drink a beer afterwards. The ones who build ringer teams, and have makeshift try-outs are pathetic. It's softball, bruhs.

Go to league sand volleyball at Laguna Beach. OMFG those 60 something year old dudes take that shite insanely serious. And there's a bar there

I play in a men's league. We absolutely do not take that shite seriously. The games are competitive but after the final pitch, both teams share pitchers of beer and make fun of the poor bastard who dropped that routine flyball.

My baseball team puts a team together in the fall.

We show up at 5:00 for an 8:30 game. Start drinking, go play, go back to drinking. I'm usually home at 11 on those nights.

Good times.

Exactly this, our league is broke up into 3 sections, A, B, & C. We play in B, there are a couple teams that are like those articles, but they usually get moved to A. B & C are just guys having fun, waiting for that post game beer.

Our team is basically 11 guys who like to talk shite about our own team members all game long.

Our team is in the A bracket at LaSalle here in new orleans and we have definitely almost came to blows with jackasses that probably couldn't cut it on the real diamond

We have to make our lineup around who is least to most drunk at game time

The most sober guy has to pitch, drunkest gets to catch.

I usually hang my drunk arse out at second base.

I play in B bracket at Lasalle and it's not bad at all. There are a couple guys who take it way too serious, including one on my team that I wouldn't mind if he decided to quit showing up. He's the 45 year old, decent ex highschool athlete that plays in 4-5 leagues during the week and tournaments every weekend.
