The fuel efficiency is my only complaint. Great as a farm truck, otherwise F'd

Had an '04 until I moved into a '15 last summer.
My '04 had 140,000 miles on it with no major issues. Hopefully I get the same out of the '15.
My only wish is that the seats were more comfortable. I have the SLT with the heated/cooled buckets. It isn't bad, but it could be better. I've made a 24 hour round trip road trip in it and was fine comfort wise.
The 5.3 is super easy to work on and they've been around forever so parts are plentiful and reasonably priced.

Still driving my 2000, love it. About 200k miles on it, never any serious issues. Would drive it another 200k miles if it lasts.

I have a 2005 Sierra that I use as a work truck and I have had no major problems so far, but I do take care of my vehicles more than most people.

Have the 14 and like it. My gas mileage is about 20 with the v8.
I did have an issue where the xm attena came loose and water then leaked into the headliner. Not to happy about that or the amount of time it took Capitol to get their shite together and fix it.

I have a 2015 Sierra SLT. Getting right at 19.5 mph with a mix of interstate and city. Inside is a little smaller than my previous ford. The intellkink system is nice.
The ride is a little stiffer but the truck overall feels more heavy than the ford. The 5.3 gm motor is solid!

GMC is by far the best looking truck out there.

And the best working. If you have zero problems with low gas mileage then the truck will last forever with reg maitanance.

The GMC and Chevrolet trucks I've had in the past all held up very well and served as very good tow vehicles.
I maintain my vehicles very well, and usually trade them in after 160,000-200,000 miles. For GMC products, I stick with one dealership that does a great job.
Sky high prices. Seriously, vehicle prices are climbing too fast IMO.

Exactly. I have a 2012 GMC Sierra and I haven't had a single problem in 4 years. I will definitely be getting another GMC when it's time to get a new one.

I have a 00'extended cab stepside with about 220k and it still runs like a champ. The only thing I had to change was a pump once, but other than that, its fine.
Dad has a 06' 2500 HD Duramax and his truck probally has about 150k if i had to guess. He still drives it on a daily basis and pulls trailers and the 5th wheel camper when they had one.

All the GM trucks I've had were excellent. They'd be my top pick if I were interested in another truck.

The 5.3 is the most reliable gas motor on the market for trucks by far. My 01 had 276K on it when I got a new one and only changed a fuel pump and alternator.

I have an 05 Sierra with 160k on it. Only things I've ever had to do with it is replace the water pump and the spark plugs. Fuel mileage is nothing to write home about but it's been a very good truck.

Probably. I think the 6.0L in the HD pickups are very similar.
