That would be extremely stupid and no one would do it.
You have the right to refuse service to people that are causing issues and you are required to refuse service to people that are too intoxicated. The owner is not going to put his arse and his business on the line by forcing the bartenders to serve everyone no matter what

In the case of the ATC sting, law enforcement is initiating the encounter so it should be considered entrapment and there should be no criminal case. However, if you think of a liquor license as a privilege and a business regulation, you could make an argument for fining the establishment.
The initiating party has nothing to do with whether or not it's entrapment.
Entrapment occurs when law enforcement cause a usually law-abiding citizen to commit a crime.
Let's say the FBI believes a certain person is trying to commit an act of terror. They approach this person on the internet with an offer to sell him a bomb. If the person accepts the offer and tries to purchase the bomb, the FBI arrests said person legally. No entrapment has occurred even though the FBI approached him.
On the other hand, if the FBI approaches a normally law-abiding person and feeds this person anti-government propaganda, attempts to coerce him into committing an act of terror, etc. and then they arrest him when he attempts to purchase the bomb, this is entrapment.

When I worked the door in Athens I had a few girls come up that were blantanly 18 and show their real ID. Glad I denied them. I assume it was a sting

It's funny the people that get mad a people for checking IDs and being strict about them, like bitch are you paying my fine and getting me a new job? Of course not you're frickin 12
Plus people under 21 don't tip anyway so there's no upside to bringing them into the bar. I don't know how someone could work at a place like Reggies.

Ahhh..the good ole days where every teen knew what bar or liquor store would openly let you purchase. Cops caught you underage, they'd make you pour it out.

This happened at a bar I frequent. When I saw the young kid pop up I told the bartender who I know real well, "better check this one!!" Then proceeded to shoot some wild turkey. Good times.

Really? When I was underage my friends and I tipped heavily, basically as a thanks for not checking our cards and to ensure that the bartender kept the drinks flowing...

You'd be the exception. 90 percent of them are broke and think that leaving 2 dollars on a 50 dollar tab is a good tip, and they cause way too much trouble because they're kids and don't know how to handle alcohol more often than not.
