question about gameday contraflow

Is it even possible to get from the Tigerland area or anywhere past that to downtown? Every road is closed and of course BR's finest only make things worse.

can you head south on nicholson to bluebonnet, take that to I 10 and head back west to downtown?

I thought about doing something like that and taking I-110 to Florida but decided against it. I think that's the only option.

Made it from the old Alex Box parking lot to Government st. In 10 minutes

Parked at Kirby smith. Decided to drive to walk on's. Horrible mistake. Currently on lea in bumper to bumper. Worst game traffic ever!

Hmm. I found traffic to be lighter than gameday usual. what I want to know is what was going on around Parker Street Thursday night. traffic was backed up across campus for hours. the line was turning down Parker and clear down Highland pass that.

The contra flow is just stupid. I had a hard time getting to a home health patient's house on one of the game days.

Which roads are contra flow?

Any major road leading to another road. All of the smaller roads turning off of those main roads are blocked off, so if you're leaving to go home and your house is closer, you can't turn down your street to get home
