I was joking. Sorry, I don't know what you can do. That's a fricked up situation, though.

You have to share the whole story if you really want help. Judge not making a decision indicates more there than you revealed in your post

After i kept bugging him if he heard a ruling yet he said they could put off ruling indefinetly. It did not tell me that though until he was paid. I was under impression u pay lawyer and court cost you should get your day in court.

The whole story is we have been divorced for 12 years. My son was 3 and daughter 7 when we divirced. I live close to my parents. When it was time for me to go back to work i could never find her, she would not answer phone. Too busy with dating etc. I did not want to rock the boat because my son never wanted to stay with her anyway. When daughter turned 18 she went to DA office and lied and said i was late on a payment. She paid 15 dollars and judge signed off and state got involved. But she got caught lying because she cashed check and state had to pay me back. Long story short i hire lawyer and we go to court and she has to admit she has not seen son except at ball games for clise to a yr. And still no ruling

Sounds like you shouldn't have had kids with someone you ended up divorcing.

Did this person document that kid has stayed with him? Did he claim the kid on taxes? Even if it is stated in divorce paperwork that the mother claims the kid on taxes the father is allowed to claim the kid if he has lived with him over 6 months that is according to the IRS.

If they have a stipulated custody judgment I'm sure they rotate claiming the kids on their taxes

Saint

When you say "I do" this usually doesn't cross your mind. Love ain't forever in marriages over half the time.
