Bullies broke an eight-year-old boy's arm in a 'racist' attack after telling him to 'go back to the cotton farm', his family claim. Jordan Jackson was hospitalized after he was 'pushed to the ground and assaulted' by a 13-year-old outside Spanish Lake Primary School in Geismar, Louisiana, on November 14. The youngster had been attempting to protect his four-year-old sister J'Niaha at the time of the attack, the boy's uncle Cris Colbert wrote on a GoFundMe page.

quote:

A fourth grader yelled at Jordan to 'go back to the cotton farm', his family claim. 'My son, who understands the connotation of that statement because we've had those conversations before, was appalled, so he said 'that's racist, his furious mother Alana Jackson said. 'The child responded 'why do you think it's so racist? You do need to go back to the cotton farm.' So at that point my son began to try to defend himself because the 13-year-old was pushing him down and calling him a baby.'

Horrible if true, but I wanna know more.

Just like all the other racist events that happened after the election.....it has a 99% chance of being fake.

It is currently being investigated. Strong possibility the big broad strokes of the incident arw true. They initially were trying to keep it hush because the parents know one another.

I was wondering when this would hit the OT. They have tried to get the local news agencies to pick it up but they won't do it.

There is a LOT of back story here.

From what I heard, the injured kid (Jackson) is a bully and has been in many fights at school. His mom WAS a teacher at the school but was reassigned to a non-teaching position with the school board.

The mom wants the school system to pay for the bills because it happened on school grounds, but it happened after school.

From what I hear, the mom is a major "race card" thumping, leach on society.

4-year-old kids and 13-year-old kids go to the same school in Geismar?

she has now decided to leave her role in the school district to home-school her children. She says that since coming forward about her son's attack, she has also suffered backlash from her colleagues.
I find it difficult to believe that her fellow teachers would be mean to her about her son being bullied... if the bullying actually occurred. Now if she's a cry wolf (cry "racism") type, then maybe so.

She's got a "master's degree in education leadership" per the article . . . sounds about right.

The go fund me seems to be to pay for medical expenses, no?

And as "fakes" go, people are just claiming the comment is fake? It really wouldn't be that weird for a kid to say something like that just repeating what he heard somewhere.

it could be fake, sure, but it's not a crazy story or outlandish claims like some.

If the mom was employed by the school, wouldn't her health insurance cover this?
