Worley served three years of a four- to 10-year sentence in the 1990 abduction of a woman who was riding her bike, which happened about 20 miles from where Joughin was riding last week near Metamora.
The woman told authorities she managed to escape Worley’s truck after he knocked her from the bike with his truck, pulled her inside the cab and handcuffed her.
quote:
Investigators found a hidden room outfitted with restraints inside a barn belonging to a man accused of abducting and killing an Ohio college student, according to search warrants released Thursday.
The room also had a carpet-lined freezer with blood inside and had been covered by hay bales
Who would have thought he would have struck again?
I'm going to take a wild guess this isn't the only victim they'll find.

Worley, 57, the warrant states, told a therapist he was mandated to see by a Lucas County Common Pleas Court judge after his previous abduction conviction that he “learned from each abduction he had done and the next one he was going to bury.”

Right. You can't teach and old dog new tricks. Maybe I'm still drunk but op's title sucks.

I'm all for 2nd chances and making sure people keep their rights as Americans. Even I will admit people like this should be drugged up, tossed in a deep dark hole somewhere, and never let back into society.

So you want to spend millions on care and housing of this monster?
Just find a sturdy branch and a length of rope and be done with it

Kidnapping of that nature should be automatic death penalty. The judge should be in the hook with his own life for any crime a POS like this commits. The judge failed our society. If I had nothing to lose This shite posses me off.

Beat me to it
Wouldn't even need to be pounds. He could have 2 smaller possession charges and get twice this sentence...mandatory.

He should be shot in the face, point blank range, with a 12 Guage shot gun.

Investigators searching the three-acre property belonging to Worley found the hidden room — concealed by hay bales — in his barn, which contained a carpet-lined freezer and restraints for holding people against their will. It was secured from the outside by a ratchet strap.

Excavators, a dive team, and several law enforcement agencies combed the obscured property, which is largely blocked from view by trees and crops.

There authorities found several pairs of women’s undergarments, one of which had blood on them. Worley told investigators that he had hidden cameras all over his property and authorities recovered what was described as a “nanny cam.”

On his property, authorities also found rope, tape, zip ties, handcuffs, several firearms and ammunition. Multiple video and still image recording devices and film were collected, though their contents have not yet been released. They recovered various items and clothing and jewelry from several locations on the property.
