I just got off the phone with a doc friend. They had to 86 a guys finger last night because he had a hand injury and the ER is equipped to take off rings but titanium is too hard.

Choose wisely I guess.

Thanks.

Can someone tell me why it's so unpopular to get normal (white/yellow gold) men's bands these days?

I'm not married, so I haven't experienced this

Yellow gold is traditional, no idea why the black/grey shite became popular. Just looks dirty.

Yellow gold is probably what I'd get, although I hate the polished look. I assume I could find something with a matte or similar finish when the time comes.

Another reason why, if you choose to get married, you get a plain gold band like a real red-blooded American. How many pussies on this board get the QALO rings?

If you have a job in manual labor, sure. Only thing I have to worry about is Ring Avulsion.

Is this seriously something to worry about? I would bet if what the doc said is actually true, then there is probably some obscene times when having the titanium ring would actually save your hand/ finger too.
