Huge savings there. I love satellite radio but the usual cost is high imo. It's just hard to go back to regular radio.

You can also cancel it and reactivate your account via online and get the 6/30 deal.

I would imagine they are losing customers at a pretty high rate. The main benefits of satellite radio are it follows you on long drives and has limited commercials. Any car that can connect a smart phone to it can duplicate that functionality for free.

Tell the man you want to renew but you want whatever deals are available. You'll get the same deals.

This right here. Any streaming service or podcast or things like iHeartRadio can duplicate the primary benefit. Unless you listen to some show that is exclusive to Satellite Radio, it’s hard to justify a reason to listen.

Unless you like having it and can afford it.

Maybe you can't justify the reason and/or the expense but plenty of others can.

Main reason I keep it is that I make a 2-3 trips a year that put me in areas with limited phone service and not much for radio stations.

Fyi, if you straight up tell them to cancel it, that you just don't want it, you'll get an email within 2 days offering 6 months for $30. It's the same $5 a month, but that gives you an extra month you don't have to mess with it.

Thanks Slim....I forgot about doing that to get the extra month but still not paying even close to full price or even their special prices

I enjoyed it while I had it, but there AP department is a mess. They didn't have my current car or account but showed an old account from the early 2000s. I haven't renewed and dont plan to. Iphone provides just as much music.

And i did hear commercials on XM, albeit not as often.
