they are protesting the fact that he was shot to death. the suspect got caught stealing an ATM with a tractor about a year ago. he shot at the police then as well. he was pulled over and asked for id on this occasion. he hit the officer in the head and struggled when the officer tried to put the cuffs on him. officer shot him.

The guy used a tractor to rip an ATM out of a bank in Mamou and run. Then shot at the cops when they tried to stop him.
He literally has a record of murderous actions against officers and somehow gets into another violent altercation with a policeman who had no backup anywhere close.
That cop gets the benefit of the doubt. The LSP also released a statement and noted that they HAVE DASH CAM FOOTAGE. They would not have released a statement detailing what happened if they did not know their statement was accurate.
I hope them VP, PP and Mamou boys give these protestors hell.
