"Many thanks to the NOPD officers working district patrol last night and earlier today, as they faced greater challenges than normal due to inadequate district-level manpower, in-car computer problems, and radio issues that at times greatly hampered critical communications between officers and dispatchers. The lack of available district manpower created a large backlog of calls for service city-wide, with one district's backlog growing to over 45 calls for service holding in the stack with no units available to respond. Thanks to their tireless dedication and willingness to often respond to potentially dangerous calls for service without adequate backup, patrol officers were able to keep up as well as they did."

The great way government works, even if the statues weren't coming down there still would have been this type of situation.

Backlog for NOPD is not something that started two weeks ago.

All lies. Mitch said no public funds were going to be spent and the first responders response time would not be affected.

I hope Mitch chokes on a strap on from one of his mistresses tonight
