They are shooting fireworks at midnight. Do they not know the difference between July 4th and New Years? I am trying to sleep.
I stole mine from a thread last year. It does seem like July 4th brings out some extra bitching every year.

Never bothers me, but the 4th is when I go to watch fireworks, New Years is when I try to blow up my street.

It's trashy to shoot fireworks before and after the 4th.

Never thought I would be that guy until I grew up and became a man with people who depend on me.

Isn't it illegal to set them off after 10 (unless it's NYE)?

A man can go to sleep at 2am and still get up for 7 fresh and ready to go.

George Washington didn't stop fighting the British at 10.

A few years back we quit shooting fireworks because they are dangerous and keep people awake. Now we burn a couch in the street and everybody wins.

Just watched the show from my deck. Very loud echoing around the mountains but worth it. 25 min show

I'm not predicting. The dogs had to sleep with me and my girlfriend last night because they were terrified of the fireworks being popped off by the fools in my neighborhood. A couple who post here. I can only imagine how bad tonight will be.

How big of a simpleton do you have to be for flashing lights and loud bangs to entertain you? This is a technology invented almost 1,000 years ago. We have movies, computers, video games, virtual reality, and any other manner of far better entertainment today. I have a very low opinion of anyone shooting fireworks in a residential neighborhood.

Maybe you should go outside, nerd.

I hope they don't keep me awake. I don't think they will but if they do I can't complain. It's the 4th of July.

Grown ups who have a bed time are sheep to the man and are simultaneously trashy.

Residential fireworks are trashy
