Poor kid. At 4 , he understands and can process some of what's going on. Gonna be a tough life for him, an innocent that never asked to be brought into existence.

I hate people. Has anyone considered that Hell may not be a post-death supernatural destination but rather life on Earth?
I hope that kid is taken it by a good family who raises him well. I hope he does something good and important with his life.
However, the chances of that happening are small...which is even more depressing.

I hope not...there's always a chance he could be wildly successful and happy. Let's not say that kids with bad parents are doomed to be just like their bad parents at every chance we get.
Honestly, that poor kid losing his folks this way (I'm assuming they're ODed) may increase his chances for success in life. Hopefully he's adopted by a nice, gay couple.

Junkies shot up on the way to somewhere with their kid in the back seat. Seems pretty straightforward. These kind of people will shoot up literally anywhere, I've known two absolute degenerates who were arrested passed out in a running car with a needle in their arm.

I agree. Especially if this gets him to a better family environment. Lots of people that have something like this in their background, grow up to be strong, clean and successful adults.
