If the road has a "Substandard Roadway" sign on it anywhere, you're out of luck. The state started putting these signs up years ago for just this scenario, to avoid liability.

Yes. Instead of them sending you a check, all you have to do is reduce your utilities payment by the amount or value of the tire.

I think you should go to the nearest DOT office and demand satisfaction..oh yeah make a video for us.

really though,if you popped a tire on a pothole, you probably had low tire pressure to begin with.

Check your tires man.

I did this recently but ends up being a contractors fault on Antioch and got a free tire. Start with dpw and tell them when and exactly where. They send out a guy to process the claim and see who's liable. They do reimburse for this stuff in some cases.

These people doubting you also said that about my towing fee at St Pats last year. Be respectful and persistent.

Before bass pro was built in denham, me and my roomated went to a fireworks stand that was there. Huge pothole and we were in a Honda accord. Ripped off half the front bumper.

Called the cops and made out a report. They paid for everything, didn't even have to put up a fight. That was 13 years ago or so.

did you make a police report?

where are the pix, the evidence?

go back, take pix

did you get a new tire show receipt

is it a state road or county?

figure it out whose road, and make contact, keep originals send copies

be sure the pix are hi-res

give 10 days to respond

it's only effective if you fail to pursue getting satisfaction

those signs have no teeth
