The customer is a lawyer and he's representing himself.

These are often the worst lawsuits.

If Popeyes is in trouble, I'll personally start a go-fund-me. Popeyes is the GOAT.

Well, these are equally nonsensical statements.

quote:

"Because Newton's order did not include a plastic knife, plaintiff Newton's only option for consumption of the chicken breasts was to hold a chicken breast in his hands and to tear off pieces thereof with his teeth," the lawsuit states.

quote:

“If you choke on your chicken and you have to get the chicken removed from your throat, it’s not because Popeyes didn’t apply a knife to the box,” former employee Tory Stokes said. “Maybe you should slow down eating. Nobody eats chicken with utensils.”

I always use a fork, and if the spork wasn't sturdy enough, I'd use my fingers. I never use a knife. It's bizarre for me to see someone take a bite out of a whole breast or thigh like that fatty Joey in the Youtube reviews. I've never ever done that. The thought never occurred to me, as the shape of the pieces isn't conducive to it.

ETA: I also get to select the skin I eat, avoid fat pockets in thighs, avoid the tiny bones in parts of the breast and cartilage in thighs, and I don't smear my whole face with grease and crumbs. To all you downvoting Joeys, there's a better way.

Because Popeye's didn't give him a knife ( ). Based on the article it seems like he even admitted in the suit to eating while he was driving. I REALLY need a copy of this petition.

So this dude alleged that he needed a knife to cut the chicken breast while he was eating in his car. This case will settle for less than a side of mashed potatoes.

Popeyes shouldn't be responsible for the idiot putting a chicken the size of a watermelon in his mouth and attempting to swallow it

Can Popeye's countersue for legal costs and lost productivity? See if his tune changes.
