A Texas woman is suing Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen because she says one of its stores served her rice and beans containing flesh-eating screwworms, according to the San Antonio Express-News. Filed Tuesday (Feb. 7) in Bexar County district court on behalf of Karen Goode, the suit says the screwworms entered her digestive tract and laid eggs that embedded in her small intestine.

When the eggs hatched, screwworms infested her body and began to eat her "alive from the inside out," the suit says. Goode couldn't work and lost her business, her house and vehicles, her attorney told the Express-News.

Was hoping on more background as to how she knew it was that particular dish from that particular chain that gave them to her and how she can prove it in court.

Is he factually wrong though? Coarse directness in aside, they are predominately staffed by African Americans who seem woefully lacking intellectually

They're all white out here and they're still stupid. Can't even count my strips correctly half the time. Popeyes hires stupid people. It's in the mission statement.

Diversified Foods creamy red beans are the best thing in the market. I'll take the screwworms or any kind of worms to enjoy that lardy goodness.

I mean, regardless of race, if you work at Popeyes and aren't in high school or the manager, you're probably an idiot.

And the managers are probably just idiots with a good work ethic.

It really was shocking, especially considering this is a louisiana based forum. But here is what he said:

I didn't see it but it was clearly racist and probably had something to do with something employees put in the beans.

Highly unlikely that this really happened, so out of all the sides of red beans and rice that that store serves on a daily basis, The worms were only in her serving. If it really happened you'd more likely see reports of several people being infected if this were real.
