Poor you, the guide to being homeless

Statistics say one out of every 4 people will be homeless at some point in their lives. What would be some tips you would give to homeless you?
Personally, I don't see why they don't hang out at airports and steal some unattended luggage in the baggage terminals

Personally, I think there is a lot we could learn from the carefree attitude of the homeless. Those guys are living the dream.

First and foremost I would call myself a hobo and not "homeless". Hobos carry a stick and bindle and their alcoholism is cute.

a foldable bike with a good lock, a packraft, a good lightweight hammock set up and backpacking gear, with a basic fishing rig and maybe a trap.
make life one big backpacking/bike tour/packrafting trip. travel to the best climates for this. i could live in the forest for years.
most people are homeless due to mental illness and/or drugs /alcohol and would not be able to pull this off, so it sort of begs the question.

Organize bum fights and charge admission for spectators. You profit while also weakening your competition for the most desirable spot under the bridge.
