Mother is on the news right now saying it wasn't her son because he was at home with her all night. They have him in for questioning at this time. They did take a pistol and other evidence items from the house.

The address they are at getting evidence is within 1/2 mile of the station. It's just a matter of time before they confirm the truth . I'm guessing the mother is having second thoughts about turning her son in, since every child is innocent in their mother's eyes

Mysteriously stabbed man crashes car at Walmart in Cypress

Weird day in Cypress yesterday. I drove by this scene yesterday. I had never seen crime tape around a car accident.

"Dindonuffins" were created by Liberalism with The Great Society, when State assistace replaced The Father and the stable Family Unit. Now we have:

80% of blacks born out of wedlock.
Traditional notions of Family, Hard Work and Education discredited.
A Professional Grievance Industry that works to absolve blacks of personal responsibility.
A popular Culture that "shames" blacks who achieve and celebrates black criminality.
A major political Party that panders to black street thugs and criminals.
And Academic Class that "intellectualizes" black social pathologies.
A Productive American Public Class that is told to ignore it all or be deemed "racist".

Liberalism BUILT this. They own it. They don't want our help . They got this shite on LOCKDOWN.

This is completely retarded. The cops can't afford a pushback on the citizenry. They've already given themselves a shitty name by their actions dealing with citizens. The way this shooting went down makes me think the shooter knew the victim.

2 miles from my house. Time to move.

Three thugs robbed a bank in Friendswood and fled in two separate cars. One of the cars was chased into my daughter's neighborhood and abandoned right in front of her house. All perps finally rounded up and nothing bad happened around her home.

One of the best neighborhoods in the area.

shite is getting real down there

I have no issue with criticizing LEOs, but the lack of respect and hostility towards them is ridiculous. They are being forced into a corner and I don't think the citizenry will enjoy their push back.

This is true, and the real consequence will be that local cops will become rarer and rarer. I'm their place what will we get? More federal policing? I wouldn't doubt
It.

My guess is ReauxlTide wrote this....
quote:

ABOLISH THE POLICE
When I say, “abolish the police,” I’m usually asked what I would have us replace them with. My answer is always full social, economic, and political equality, but that’s not what’s actually being asked. What people mean is “who is going to protect us?” Who protects us now? If you’re white and well-off, perhaps the police protect you. The rest of us, not so much. What use do I have for an institution that routinely kills people who look like me, and make it so I’m afraid to walk out of my home?

My honest answer is that I don’t know what a world without police looks like. I only know there will be less dead black people. I know that a world without police is a world with one less institution dedicated to the maintenance of white supremacy and inequality.

The police are not performing the function we say they are, and there are real ways to achieve a world with less violence that don’t include the police. We simply haven’t tried. Until we invest in full employment, universal healthcare that includes mental health services, free education at every level, comprehensive sex education that teaches about consent and bodily autonomy, the decriminalization of drugs and erasure of the stigma around drug use, affordable and adequate housing, eliminating homophobia and transphobia—things that actually reduce the amount of violence we witness—I don’t want to hear about how necessary the police are. They are only necessary because we are all too willing to hide behind our cowardice and not actually put forth the effort to create a better world. - MYCHAL DENZEL SMITH

I hate how the narrative has become "give the minority a voice and over react to their hysteria"

There are countless interactions between LEO and the public everyday but we are supposed to believe there is an epidemic because of a few isolated incidents?

You should have seen the comments on the article in NOLA.com this morning. Horrible anti-cop rhetoric and saying he deserved it and so on. Nola took down those comments. I wish I would have copied them. Some poster was like "good, we need kill more"

The guy in custody is the killer from what I've been told by two officers in my kids scout troop. Just arent saying publicly yet.

Mom turned him in because she knew the police would light him up.

I carry, legally. Each time I see an officer on a traffic stop lately, I slow down far more than normal and observe what's going on. I'm not sure what the hell I'd do if I actually saw one in need of assistance in a life threatening situation, but my conscious thought is to stop and do whatever is necessary to have his or her back if necessary. It's a damn shame I even have reason to think that way.

You shouldn't be calling anybody naive. You don't even seem to understand what's been causing the violence directed towards the cops to begin with.

Liberalism has successfully vilified our critical Institutions by pandering to the criminal class at the expense of Law Enforcement and The Rule of Law. A cop is the symbolic personification of everything these people despise. Authority, Civil society, respect for the rights of others, etc. And now we are getting the results. It has never been more "heroic" to kill a cop amongst the shite birds and there has never been as much moral relativism floating through the Zeitgeist fanning racial and anti-cop angst.

It's really fricking tragic. And not just for this guy's family, but for American society

Holy shite you are a zealot and a charlatan of highest order.

I didn't mean to offend people. I'm not sure my posts themselves were very offensive, but this wasn't the thread to post them in. Sorry to all who was upset.

Just think, once he's caught, the tax payers will have to pay for him the rest of his life. room, board, etc

Criminals are not afraid of jail. Which is why the Justice system might have to begin to change. criminals need to have a fear of arrest, jail.

Public humiliations, flogging in public, caning on tv.

For some, u get the bed, meals, weight room, gym, etc and like u grew up, all for free, on tax payers dime.
