Got into some poison oak the other day and I have a nasty rash all over my legs. Second time it happened in a month and I don't feel like waiting it out for 2 weeks again. Is there any way to make it go away or to help the itch?

Poo on it.

Or pee on it.

One of those.

Go to urgent care for a shot of cortisone. That's what I do for poison ivy so assuming it'll work for poison oak. Goes away in a day.

A cortisone shot is much faster than any home remedy you can do. Definitely worth it imo

Take the hottest shower you can stand a couple times a day. Will take away the itch.

OTC - Zanfel - cream in a tube - will run you between 35.00 to 40.00 bucks at a CVS, Walmarks or any other drug chain - follow directions - it works.

Go to urgent care, get cortisone injection. Be done with it in a day or 2. None of the other shite works.

go get a steroid shot from the doctor. It should cut the recovery time to about half.

Zanfel works for me but it works a lot better for me if its within the first 10 or so hours of the rash starting. It does help no matter when you do it though.
