What is a reasonable price to pay for a plumber to unclog a sink drain when he was at the house for about 30 min?

About 400 dollars unless you're a socialist.

We just paid a plumber $225 to snake a sewer line and run a camera through line out to street. I would think unclogging a sink would be a little less.

How much did he charge you?

And also depends on where you are located - but they have people that just unstop drains that aren't plumbers. I paid Roto Rooter 250 to run a snake through my mo dad in the country on a Sunday when I had a house full of people and a toilet backed up.

I'd have paid double that.

What day of the week and what time of day?

An off hours trip for rotorooter is gonna cost you $400 regardless of time spent.

I hope you watched him closely and learned how to do it so that you can do it yourself the next time.

Youtube is actually a really good source of info for DIYers.
