Picture I took was one of the best days of our lives is now an obituary pic

How ironic that my favorite picture of us is now the one that is being used to remember you? That day has so many memories that I still feel as if it was 10 minutes ago.....the heat on my skin randomly cooled by the water splashing off the rocks. I remember thinking it would be a day I wouldn't ever forget. I would have never thought that this would be my present when that moment was captured in the past. My half of the picture cropped out to only include you, your face, and now you are gone from this world forever. I'll never understand how this plane of existance seems so sure and so real, only to have those around you evaporated into thin air like they never existed in the first place. I have clothes that smell like you and pictures and a voicemail on my phone, text messages that I won't ever erase and your jacket hanging next to my door. That's what I have now. And this little printout of your obituary with my former favorite picture on it.

Sorry everywhere, just needed to vent to somewhere and get these words out of my mind. Been a rough week.
