4-5 years ago I severely pulled my right hamstring playing softball. It took several months before I could run pain free. Still to this day, when I have any type of strenuous leg activity (yard work, etc) just my right hamstring is very sore the next couple of days.
Is this normal?

normal....no
how is your hamstring length? might need some good stretching
look up ASTYM, find a PT close to you that does it and get a referral

About 6" shorter than my weiner.
Seriously though, I don't know my hamstring length. How do you measure it?
