Photography Lessons - Lafayette
Posted by cajuntiger26 on 12/7/15 at 10:07 am11
Does anyone know of any professional photographers or experts that also do private photography lessons? I know they have continuing education classes online and on campus, but that's not exactly what I was looking for.
Hoping to find someone that could do 1 on 1 lessons.
Any help would be appreciated!

I would recommend you get a subscription to something like Kelbyone.com also. Has tons of instructional videos, especially on Photoshop and Lightroom.

Purchasing Understanding Exposure and the Digital Photography Book and going out to practice is going to be more valuable than lessons, in my opinion.

While you are both probably right regarding the online lessons and books...it's not what I am looking for.
This is for the wife and she is not interested enough to do all that. Just wants to be able to take better pictures and would probably do best in a classroom or 1 on 1 setting.

What is she looking to learn? The basics or more advanced stuff(lighting, etc)? She shoots with a DSLR or?
One day or multiple lessons?
I'm not a pro but I know my stuff. I may be willing to help.

This won't end well.

I would have asked for pics first if I cared about that.
