Philippine Islands: The Land of Milk and Honey..I mean uh..Yeti Ice Chests??

Just got back from the Philippines on an official visit. I hadn’t been to the Islands since 2010, before the Yeti craze struck America. I noticed almost immediately these bright white Yeti coolers EVERYWHERE. People are using them to store jugs, fishing equipment, and even seemingly trash. Come to find out apparently Yetis are made in the Philipines, so for whatever reason, the locals (who are incredibly poor) are able to come across them more easily than even food.
It really is funny to look around at the 9th Ward-esque poverty, but with these $400 USD coolers you idiots are buying back in the States
Don’t worry; always enterprising, I made a deal with C-130 pilot (who apparently has a pretty good black market operation; think Milo) to bring me as many as he could fit on the bird next time he returns to Aviano, for $50 each (that’s more than he usually gets, but I am not cheap).
Looking forward to turning major profits, and hopefully sending as many home as possible (check NOLA Craigslist for $200 Yetis around August/September).

You're really dumb.
I'm assuming you're smuggling 45 quart coolers. Those can be had for $280 shipped if you know where to look. You're paying $50/each to bring them in on a C130 and trying to sell them for $200. So you're net is only $150 but you still have to store them and clean them up before resale. Time is money, storage is money.
What you fail to realize is the stuff they give out to the locals are things they can not sell. Lids do not fit, improper drain plugs are a common blimpish. So you're trying to sell seconds for $80 off of retail.
The risk reward isn't there.
Edit* I forgot to mention that I think you are full of shite.

Looks like the Yeti manufacturing plant might want to invest in this set-up:

Does anyone else think that yeti jokes/threads have run their course by now?

Your so cool brah.
I don't understand the yeti hate. If you don't like them, don't buy one. Don't be mad at yeti because you suck at life.

Don't look at me. I've got better sense than waste that kind of money on a damn cooler. The fact so many people are buying these stupid things is a testament to the fact we've got a shite ton of people here that have more money than sense.

Thats great but will they come with a sticker?
