I can't wait for Mitch to go to jail and become Bubba's bitch.

It's a damn shame the people of New Orleans have no say in this... maybe we'd still vote to take them down, but at least there would be a process. Mitch is a fricking disgrace to the way a mayor should run his office.

No public funds will be used to take down statues.

...and you people believed that sack of shite when he said he'd wait 30 days!

I think those are NOPD detail cops being paid by the contractor to help them take down the monuments so technically no city funds are being used.

Posted on 5/16/17 at 1:34 pm to JS87

I had someone dig a little in the state system. That asset should NOT be moved.

The bill passed the house, but now it has to go through the Senate then onto the governors desk.
Posted on 5/16/17 at 1:52 pm to JS87
That's basically what I was alluding too. Mitch gonna go into overdrive to get them all down ASAP in case the bill gets signed into law preventing him from pandering to his base.
Posted on 5/16/17 at 1:52 pm to lsuhunt555
It's a pity this mayor hates history. It's a damned shame that he wants to erase it.
