What does it take to make this happen? It's a tradition that needs to be maintained. I don't think one vet or one administrator should be able to kill a tradition. Also, I'd like to know what the reasoning is why Mike can no longer perform this function.

Are you high? Or do you just hate the fact that we have a live tiger?

It will never happen again. It's cruel, and times have changed, grandpa.

Of yeah, and take this to the Rant.

Have you ever tried to shove a 400lb jungle cat into a cage when he didn't want to be in there?
Furthermore, the nervous 400lb jungle cat could harm himself while in the cage.

Jungle cats health >>> you getting to yell at ingle cat

Well for starters, there's no live Mike mascot as of right now. But it has always been Mike's decision as to whether or not he wanted to get into the cage to be brought into the stadium. If he didn't voluntarily go into the cage, he didn't go into the stadium. Mike VI didn't want to go into the cage as much as previous Mikes did. Whether the tradition continues is up to Mike VII if he wants to get into the cage or not on gamedays.

ETA: Correction...didn't realize LSU announced the next Mike won't be brought into stadium at all. Thought they had only stopped trying with Mike VI due to his health issues.

He's just a furry tractor, get on top and ride him into the trailer. Jeez.

How about we dress you up like this and throw you in the trailer cage?

Who said the tiger doesn't want to be there? That cat gets royal treatment. I'm sure his health will be fine.

I bet you do everything anybody tells you. You never question anything because someone else figured it out for you. Groupthink
