Looking at the last 8 years and this current election, I'd have to say GWB.

I'd vote for him over Trump and that nasty woman any day.

Sorry, I've not met one person paying less. Destroyed may be a bit much of a word, but it will never go back. I pay more than double what I did before ACA.

My statements didn't really have to do with the OP exactly. I don't think Lincoln was hated in his time. Nor do I think Obama is hated. But their shortcomings are eventually overlooked and a caricature of their historical figure is what's remembered. I think Obama will be a Washington/Lincoln/Roosevelt type of historical figure in 100 years and I don't think he's quite that level in reality.

Abraham Lincoln

Not sure why I am being down voted. Lincoln won only about 38% of the vote, was hated by an entire half of the country, led the United States into Civil War...and he was amongst the greatest Presidents ever. To say he wasn't hated is absurd.

You are absolutely correct. Lincoln wins hands down.

Only a moron would say W. As time goes on the Iraq invasion will prove to be one of the biggest strategic blunders in our history. He has a solid chance of being remembered as one of the worst ever.

Paul please explain why your dumbass laughs at the notion that Obama isn't hurting the middle class with Obamacare. I REALLY want to hear your answer.

I don't think "hate" is the correct word in these two cases; perhaps "disliked."

I suggest Herbert Hoover and Harry Truman. Hoover let office very unpopular but became a respected elder statesman. Truman's approval was so-so when he left office but has favorable ratings today.
