I have my dogs in a big fenced backyard. If I wanted dog shite in my front yard, I'd fence it in too and put my dogs in it.

I understand that this may happen every once in a while when people who have their dogs in fenced yards walk them. I'm talking about the people who have no fenced yard and who almost exclusively take their dogs to go take a crap in someone else's yard.

I have some shitty (no pun intended) dog owners around where I live.

I have a neighbor who has a German Shepherd that is either out on a chain or loose. As a result of being chained and unsocialized, it is a coward and will end up biting someone. It will try to sneak up behind you. Their last dog was a pit who died in another neighbor's yard from heartworms.

I pick my dogs shite up when we go for a walk and he dumps in the front yard on the street side of the ditch.

The owners are irresponsible/lazy aholes who don't understand the common courtesy of picking up after their dog. Takes 10 seconds and a simple bag to make sure I leave my neighbors yards the way I found them.

Somebody is putting his plastic bag with doggie steamers in my garbage can on garbage day. I guess I appreciate the courtesy instead of leaving them in my yard, but this rustles me for some reason.

It should. That's trashy and rude.

Happens about once every couple weeks in my front yard. Thinking about printing up a picture of the owner and posting it around the neighborhood as "this week's shitty dog owner"

Not sure on the legalities of it

You live in a neighborhood where people keep dogs outside on chains?

Sounds like a pretty trashy neighborhood. What do you expect?

I agree. When I bought my house, it was one of the nicest streets in town (dead end, no traffic). It has flipped in the last three years or so. Stupidly, I didn't sell my house when I had the chance.

House next door is 4000 s.f. with a tennis court (and is in nice condition). Sold a year ago for $160,000!

There is only one house on my street with a chained dog - unfortunately, it is right across the street. When the 80 year old owner died and the house sold (it was the smallest on the street), it started the neighborhood demise.

I watched a woman this afternoon wait an inordinate amout of time for the mutt to dump. She then scooped it up, which is normal, but then proceeded to wipe Fido's arse. As Fido is my witness!
To be fair, for some reason she made me think she was European which makes it a wash.

I'm really confused about if you are equally offended of dog walkers that pick up after their dog simply because it still pooped in the yard.

We typically try and let our dog out in the backyard for a few minutes before a walk to hopefully alleviate this issue. I pick up, but I just don't want to have to haul the poop around for 15-20 minutes.

Walk your dog to her yard. Or collect a weeks worth of crap and offload at her mailbox.
