I know this was a big discussion when the suit was filed.

A judge says the widow of a man driving the Porsche that crashed and killed actor Paul Walker cannot prove the carmaker is responsible for the accident.

U.S. District Judge Philip S. Gutierrez ruled Monday that there wasn't enough evidence in Kristine Rodas' claims that her husband died because the Porsche Carrera GT he was driving lacked several key safety features.

Gutierrez also ruled there wasn't evidence the Porsche's suspension failed, as the lawsuit claimed.

Something tells me Paul Walker had a massive life insurance policy and I'm sure the estate of the Porsche owner is attempting to shift responsibility in the event Walker's estate takes legal action against them to collect some type of compensation.

Considering the car has no traction control and people buying it are aware of that (it is a feature, not a defect), she can go screw herself.

I thought the case was a bit weak anyway considering the car had tires that were 10 years old and the fact that reckless driving was ruled as a cause.

Huh? Would his life insurance not have paid out in this instance?

My gripe was where they argued that the vehicle doors and other parts didn't have massive steel beams to protect from impact like a Subaru. They wanted to force hundreds of pounds of structure into every car basically ruining performance vehicles.

This particular one had tires that were ten years old if I remember correctly. No TC plus really old tires plus high speeds equals a bad situation. Jay Leno spun hi CGT through the infield at Talladega. Those cars are a handful.

I miss Paul

One of my favorite movies ever was She's All That but ever since his death I have a difficult time watching it.

Is this for real?

The driver, I thought, had some training?

That's basic, rookie stuff right there...

I'm fanatic about tires, especially on a trailer or RV.

The tires on the Vette are pretty old, but it hasn't been a DD in a long time and when I drive it, I'm not trying to sling the guts out of it.

Anything I DD, the tires don't last that long anyway.

Ol Jay seems pretty calm after all that.

He just got behind on his steering, NBD.
