The person who shot them was not given permission by my loathing of trump.
Robertson is trying to score points by spinning a psychotic as the agent of those who detest trump.

Just because you hear about more crime doesn't mean the world is any more "evil" than it ever has been. Honestly, I don't know if I really believe in people being evil. Yes, people can do evil things, but it takes someone who isn't thinking rationally. And if it is a mental illness of some type, it's just a human act.
As a whole, there is actually less crime in the US. Of course there are certain areas in which crime get worse, but overall 20 years ago there was more crime than there is today. Today we have social media that allows us to hear about everything that goes on and people consume it and they perceive the world much different than when we didn't have social media pumping out everything that happens.
Do you really think that there was supposedly only two people on Earth and God told one of them to not eat an apple, however; they did and because of that everyone else who ever lived has to "suffer" in sin. And then people are punished because there is a lot of sin going on? That is pretty cruel if you ask me. "Well, that person ate the apple so everyone who will ever be born will have to suffer and if things get out of hand, I am going to have to keep people in check through acts like mass shootings".
Our brain makes us who we are and everyone is different. There are brains that do not produce enough of certain hormones or too much or none at all and that has a huge impact on how people feel, whether they feel at all, etc. The problem is, it's not something people can see and when these events happen, people need some type of answers.
