Alright, I'm going on a job shadow today with a guy who is a District Manager for a major corporation. What's appropriate to wear? I was thinking about a good polo shirt and Khakis with brown Johnston & Murphys. Any other advice, lemme know. Thanks guys

Are you guys going on site visits? Or is this an HQ day? If HQ I'd consider a button down shirt instead.

Bring an umbrella so you can keep the sun off the district manager when you step outside with them

Wear an oxford shirt. Everything else OK. Pack a tie just in case.

Well... what do you think he will wear? Wear that. When all else fails, overdress. You can always lose the jacket and or tie if needed.

If I were you I'd call and ask if you genuinely don't know.

But I'm an engineer and it's fully expected that I have no knowledge of proper attire for anything so I can get away with it.
