In many rural areas where cable is not offered this is the only means of internets.

Well if something goes wrong, I have the peace of mind of tech support.

It's amazing considering there is literally zero marketing for AOL these days.

These days AOL is probably best described as an internet publisher: it owns the Huffington Post, TechCrunch and other digital publications which together attracted 190 million unique visitors in the first quarter of 2015. For the record, AOL’s latest earnings were well received. Its shares closed more than 10% higher on May 8.

Solid company.

Case owns a ton of real estate in Hawai'i. He is living well and he's not nearly as irritating as Musk.

It took my dad like 3 years to cancel it after he already had cable internet. It was a direct charge on his credit card and trying to talk to someone to cancel was nearly impossible.

On a side note I remember masturbating to a Jenny McCarthy picture being downloaded on AOL. I think I shot my load before the picture downloading to her belly button.
