Be very careful on grill placement. From experience, grills under a roof can create a lot of heat and smoke if not placed properly in your design, making your entire space unusable while cooking. Make sure you have considered ventilation options (ie. vent hood). Especially since yours will be attached to your house.
The best thing in mine is a double burner (one high pressure, one low pressure). Nothing like cooking the first gumbo of the year outside.

Location is just north of you.
We are doing the work ourselves, so I don't really have a budget. Just going to work on it as we can.
As you come out of the house, we have an existing covered patio about 15' wide x 13' deep. That's where the kitchen will be. We have uncovered patio that extends out from that on the front and the left side. We have a fire pit and will put seating there, as well. We are also extending the patio on the right side (not sure if pouring another slab or doing it as a slightly raised deck). That is going to be an additional 120-130 square feet that we going to have additional seating and putting a pergola over.

Where in Houston?
We finished ours in October. Actual work started in June. We did have a pool as well so that was a big part of the job.
I have heard horror stories about some contractors. Research them as well as go see some of their work in person.
When doing my research Bull outdoor kitchen products are highly rated which is what we purchased. I didn't put a fridge because everyone I talked to hated theirs. I had an incounter ice chest put in. It will hold ice for about 5 days currently. Not sure what it will do in the summer.
I don't have pics since we have completed everything but will post some later after I get home.
For furniture in addition to the typical patio stores check Costco online, star furniture, and Luis Shanks.

We have about 560 sqft of space, with plans to cover part of of it and the rest either have an open style canopy or just leave uncovered.
What is your budget?
I can say with great confidence that an outdoor kitchen is an expensive endeavor.

Did you look into an outdoor ice maker?
I had one in a pool house that worked OK as long as the AC was on.

Hoshizaki is the brand I purchased. Holding up great.

What I've been specifying lately. Best value IMO.

Have you used it during the summer yet?

Bull is a great brand. I have Coyote and it seems to be very solid stuff.

Yes, we have hosted a few gatherings for friends and family.
Kids love it, as pool is heated.

Bill is ok. Blaze and Lion are probably the best choices in that category. For High End grills I really like DCS. The best value set would be a 32" and a Kamado. Griddles and power burners are extremely popular. Side burners are for warming beans and sauces. I always thought they wasted a lot of space.

I like the coyote styling but haven't used one yet.

Truer words have never been spoken. I actually have to re-do my built in exhaust hood in an effort to combat this very problem. It sucks...well...actually it doesn't suck enough!

Wonderful. Easily the best ice. Use it all the time.
