OT Word gurus - I need a word for a particular type of employee

This guy is probably one of my least efficient workers... but every time he actually does something he has to call it out to everyone. aggravating! Its like he is kissing arse and acting like he is doing something...
"hey i just did that"
There's a name for this kind of person. I cant think of it.. help?
