Just got this tech watch for Christmas. Not super expensive, but a good looking watch to me.
Links via Bluetooth to my iPhone. Gives me notifications and tracks my fat arse with steps.
My first step towards a Breitling.

There are several tiny led lights on the under side of the watch. You can set what notification you want to a particular color, and it vibrates.

gotcha.... so it just notifies you to look at your phone? nothing actually pops up on the display?

They have one that does that but I did t want it I wanted a classic looking watch.

Fossil is a cheap watch, generally, but with bluetooth, I don't know.
You've got about another 40 steps from fossil to Breitling, but you should reconsider Breitling. Think Omega instead.

It's a matter of taste in the design. They both mostly use the same movements. I'm not a huge fan of Brietling compared to Omega, but I do love this :

People here may shite on Fossil but they make a solid wrist watch for the price. I have a Omega and a Tag and both are great but I also have a Fossil and it is fantastic.

I use to work with a guy that his watch alarm would go off everyday at 10am. He claimed he didn't know how to turn it off and it would be annoying as frick in meetings. One day we were having a meeting with some corporate big wheels and it went off durning the meeting while one of the big shots was talking. The guy apologized and told him he didn't know how to turn it off. The head man said "oh hand it here I know how to shut it off." He took the watch and smashed that fricker into about 10 pieces with his shoe. The funny thing is the fricking watch was still beeping as it laid on the floor with its guts busted out.
